My First Nature Camp: PreK/Age 3 with parent/guardian

Make your child’s first camp experience memorable, educational and most of all fun! Explore nature using age appropriate activities, experience crafts, games and nature walks each day. Join us for story time, see wild animals in their natural setting, make new friends and use your senses to enjoy the wonders of nature in a fun and safe way. Come learn and play!
$25 Member; $30 Non-Member  
My First Nature Camp runs 9am – noon ● Campers must be 3 by start of camp and toilet trained ● Snack included

Tuesday, June 29 ~ Frogs in a Pond
Jump into the life of a frog and see how this little animal is important in making a pond a POND. Get excited to meet our slimy amphibian friends.

Wednesday, June 30 ~ Down on a Farm
Old McDonald had a farm…you know the rest. We will explore the animals that call the barn their home and how important they are to our lives.

Thursday, July 1 ~ Bird Brains
Birds are fun to watch. They fly, they are colorful and they come from an egg. Let the fun soar as we learn about the life of birds.

Tuesday, July 20 ~ Hungry Animals
What would you eat if you had claws on your feet and a pointy beak on your face? Dig in as we learn about how and what different animals eat.

Wednesday, July 21 ~ Terrific Turtles
We’ll lasso some turtles, the dwellers of woods and waters, to teach us about being scaly and cold-blooded. Lets find out what makes turtles so terrific!

Thursday, July 22 ~ Who’s Who in the Night
Pretend to be out on a night time stroll and discover nocturnal animals at work.  Owls, bats, mice, raccoons and others will be excited that we ventured out to learn more.

Tuesday, August 17 ~ Bear Necessities
Get your paws on a real bear’s skin and explore the forest as we go in search of this marvelous mammal. This camp is not for the average bear!

Wednesday, August 18 ~ Super Snakes
Do you think sssnakes are sssuper? Discover how snakes move, eat and live as we slither into the wild world of this amazing reptile.

Thursday, August 19 ~ Creepy Crawlies
You never have to look too far to find insects, roly-polys, or spiders. We will investigate the lives of the many-legged animals that share our world.
